It will be interesting to see what happens to this partnership if daughter Kaylee is among the 1% of slaves selected by Wayne for his own use.

This segment raises some interesting possibilities. Do police officers ordinarily carry equipment that will let them scan the data on a slave's collar and microchip? (A nonexistent chip in this case.) I suspect they do, and this could come into play during a further encounter between the two of them...

These crossover appearances from other stories often give us a glimpse of how these characters have gone on to live their lives since their own slave experiences. But since it is just a glimpse, there is still room for each of us to use our own imagination too.
