I wasn't expecting a time skip to after the term was up but it is a different take on the story. I am looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Interesting story, though you sometimes used male pronouns to refer to Vicky.

It seems like the tech should still be able to remove the collar after the six months are up. It locked because of a glitch and logically there would be issues if they couldn't at least unlock it for medical reasons.
