Umm ... Wow ... Whew ... Part 5 and the 4th of July Slave Parade story as a whole were really good. But I feel compelled to confess that I'm way too much of a mess right now to express whatever further, more substantive comments I'd intended to make when I finished Part 5. I am so belated in reading this story that I'd hesitated to comment. But, as with other Joe stories, this story is just so well-conceived and well-written that I cannot help raving about it and the outrageous, vicarious cravings I feel reading it.

I belatedly discovered this story over a year after the author began posting it. I have found it shamefully and powerfully arousing. As horrifying and mortifying as it is for me, I found myself identifying with Honey in many ways. I do hope the author resumes and continues this story.
