Another neat story idea that came to me. Anyone is free to use it.

A wealthy heiress is caught using drugs at a party and arrested. Her lawyers are able to cut a deal where she can avoid penal slavery if she can successfully complete a special rehab program. Before she can be told the details, she eagerly accepts, thinking thirty days in rehab will be easy. However, she finds out too late that the rehab program is effectively an entire month of slave training. Naturally, the spoiled princess has a difficult time adjusting. Especially once she learns that if she fails to complete the program to the judge’s satisfaction, she will be sentenced to a five year indenture.

Maybe implement this as home detention with an AI administered slave training and troublesome relatives (or so called friends) visiting and taking advantage of the situation.

While something like a home detention would fit as the kind of light sentencing a rich person would get in the penal system, I think being personally handled by some minimum wage staff at a rehab facility would be far more humiliating for her. Using AI for part of it wouldn’t be a bad idea though.

I like the idea of a rehab facility, but as part of the program friends and relatives are part of her rehab. She would be required to successfully complete slave functions in the presence of and for family and friends - while nude of course.

After her release there would be follow up in home evaluations.

Gosh, I wonder how a judge might satisfy himself that she picked up useful slave skills? You really need to put this power in the hands of a Judge, to make sure that it is never abused.
