What do you think of the new story tags?

Hello Everyone!

You’ve probably noticed the new tags that now appear on story topics and the tag cloud.

The goal was to make it much easier for readers to quickly find exactly the kind of story they’re in the mood for and to help great older stories stay visible instead of getting buried over time.

Now I’d really love your honest feedback:

• Are the tags actually useful to you when browsing?
• Have they helped you discover or rediscover stories you might have missed?
• Are any of the tags inaccurate or misleading?
• What other tags would you like to see added in the future?

probably take a few days/weeks to get comfortable in the new stuuf

Like everything else it will take time to get used to. It is a good idea in my opinion. Only thing that concerns me is good stories not being read because they are not tagged with a desired subject matter. I will vote after a couple weeks

I'm not in the mood for reading right now, but it's been fun browsing the tags to see how they work. I think they will be useful, especially for new members.

I don't believe anyone expects automatically applied tags to be perfect, though there'd be disagreements with human applied tags as well. I did notice the third chapter of "Tracy Identifies As" shows up in the "StandAlone" tag, possibly because I was inconsistent in how I specified the chapter names.

I think you've done a good set and I thank you for your innovation.
