curiousity got the cat part 2

This could also be called chapter six it picks up where chapter 5 left off.
That afternoon Linda Linda decided to stay in bed. She told Robert that she must be coming down with something and wasn't feeling well. This was the first time that she ever lied to Robert. This made sense to Robert as she seemed a little out of it and was unsteady walking.
It was now Thursday. Donna had told Linda that she would give her a little time to process everything.
At about 9:00 she got a text from Donna. Going to the gym at 1:00. Do you want to come with me? We can take your car if you like.
Linda knew that sooner or later she was going to have to deal with Donna. Even though she didn’t feel like working out, she text back OK My car leave at 12:40
When Donna arrived she gave Linda a big hug. Linda forced herself to hug Donna back.
The girls didn’t say much to each other on the drive there.
The workout lasted about an hour. Donna was her normal self. She told Linda that Mark was working on something that involved their biggest client being pitched a new Idea by another company that could be mutually beneficial. She said that she missed her son from time to time and that his grades were good.
Donna kept trying to get Linda to engage in pleasant conversation. Linda would say just enough not to be rude. The workout was OK but not as strenuous compared to what the girls usually do.
When they got to Linda's house Donna invited herself in for a glass of wine. Linda tried to protest but figured that there was no use.
Linda poured them each a glass, Donna toasted her glass in the air and said “cheers”
“Do you want to talk some more about it or just sit there and pout? “ Asked Donna “ You can't undo what happened.”
“Okay I’m not sure what I expected. But you were right with all that you told me after we were done. I was processing things all day yesterday. I want our friendship to continue like it was but I am not sure how to do that”
Donna gave a big sigh of relief. “I am so glad to hear you say that” I am still the same person as I was a week ago. And guess what. So are you. You only think you're different. The only thing different about you now you have expanded your world and you haven't brought Robert along with you. At least not yet. You are still the one at times that I envy.Your friendliness and sense of adventure and spirit are all traits I wish I had more of. Just being around you lifts my mood.”
A smile had developed on Linda’s face.”That's so sweet of you to say “Linda exclaimed,
Keeping our friendship the same is simple. “We don’t change anything," Donna explained. “At times we will just expand it” “ So still best friends?”
“Yes , I never wanted it any different”. Linda stood up,opened her arms and said “big hug??”
“Of course” Donna walked over and squeezed Linda as hard as she could.
That night when Robert got home Linda enthusiastically met him at the door.
“Well you must be feeling better,”Robert told her
“Yea a lot better. Donna and I even went to the gym.”
“ How was your day?” Linda asked
“Stressful “,Robert replied,” Every time I think I am making progress with this new prospect something else pops up.”
Linda rubbed Robert's shoulders and whispered into his ear “ Would you like to work some of that stress out?”
“That would be great “Robert said as he led Linda to the bedroom.
Robert was more aggressive than usual. Linda didn't mind though as she was fully recovered from Tuesday’s ordeal.When they were finished Robert told Linda to go to sleep as he wanted to work on the deal some more.
That Friday shortly after Robert had left for work Donna called Linda and said, ”Lets go shopping around lunch time and see what else we can get into. “
Linda ,knowing Donna, knew that shopping wasn’t all that Donna had planned. Knowing it was useless to ask what that something else was, Linda just agreed.
When they pulled into one of the upscale shopping centers in downtown Atlanta, Linda felt bad for questioning her friend's motive.
After eating lunch at a French bistro the girls wandered from store to store. Each picked up a few items here and there.
The girls were about to walk past a shoe store when Donna grabbed Linda and said” Let's get you a new pair of pumps.”
Linda tried to explain that pumps were impractical for her and that she already had some nice dress shoes or the occasional night out.
As usual Donna would not be deterred. Donna soon picked out a pair of black peep toe platform heels Sandals with strappy lace up tie stilettos pumps.Not being overly expensive Linda agreed to buy them.
Just as the girls appeared to be done Donna spotted a Victoria's secret.
Donna grabbed Linda and said “Lets find something sexy! My treat!”
With trepidation Linda allowed herself to be dragged into the store.
“Lets get you something sexy for Robert” Donna exclaimed.
After looking around for a while Linda picked up a nice little cami and shorts set. Linda held it up to show Donna. Donna said that it was a great looking set and that if she thought Robert would like it that she should get it.
Linda replied “ This is fitting of my personality, a little naughty, yet modest. Robert will have fun taking this off of me.”
“Great! “Donna said,” Let's find something for me next.”
Donna walked right over to the bra and garter section. After searching for a moment she picked up a sheer pink panty and garter set with a matching see through bra and stockings.
Linda's eyes widened and said” That will make you look like a cheap whore.”
Donna said “That's the look I am going for! Mark will love it.”
Donna paid for both items and the girls left.
On the way home Donna said that there was one more store that she wanted to stop at. A few minutes later Donna pulls into the back parking lot of an indiscreet store with completely tinted windows named ,”His and Hers”
