Where are the rules?

I distinctly remember there being some rules for posting stories but now I can't find them. Can anyone link it to me please?

We have this page, called "Terms", the link should be available on every forum or topic page at the end:
ucp.php?mode=terms

Does this answer your question?

Hmm, not exactly. I was thinking more about the rules on what is allowed in stories and that type of stuff. So more like, characters should be over the age of 18 or whatever. Not agreeing to what age I am as a poster.

The Terms document says:
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, ...
I admit, there could be more descriptions or guidelines for story authors. Especially, that material about children is prohibted.
Moreover, one could describe what is desired in a StripSearch story. I will inform my fellow administrators about your request (which I do affirm).

Thanks. I was expecting something more clear. There are some things I just don't personally like and would prefer not to see (bestiality and cannibalism are two examples that I feel are getting more popular which I personally really do not like!) and I wanted to know more about the age. Where I live, age of consent is 16 and I don't if a story has characters aged 16-18. Especially if it is a high school setting it's a bit funny if everyone is 18+, but I want to know what the rules are here.

My feelings on this was not to bother creating a set of submission rules unless it became an issue, leave a little discretion about what is tasteful or not. I think it's better to play it safe with the age thing and leave it 18+, regardless of your own country in some juristictions it is illegal to view even written depictions of underage characters (also age of consent and age of porn performer / character in story are different issues). I don't know the laws of the webhost companies country and wherever the server itself is located and whether it is legal to host such material in those.

For the other 2 things I don't really have an opinion, not really to my taste but I don't have to read them. Maybe for more extreme / niche stuff we should enforce a tag code system in the titles ([beast], [canb] etc). That being said I don't know if there are legal issues surrounding that stuff in text form.

I, for one, would like to ban such extreme topics (cannibalism, vore, bestiality/animals, maiming, hard torture) from this site. Completely.
They do not match the definition of "on topic" for this website. Just my two cents.

However, I do appreciate the suggestion to tag stories with keywords. This is usual on many story sites.

I while ago, several members responded with a NO as to scat. Would that apply to ass-to-mouth and rimming? In the real world I would imagine there could be some scat transfer.

I think anything you would find in relatively mainstream porn is fine.

It wasn't just "scat" - which would be bad enough, but you proposed to use a "human toilet machine" in a story. That's not fun, it's puke-inducing.

As far as rimming, ass-to-mouth: Since this is a stripsearch fantasy site there are numerous references to ladies having their assholes explored, but in the interests of fantasy we are assuming that they are all miraculously clean when that happens - just as porn actresses are. So as long as you stick to that, it's OK.

I also think tags would be helpful, especially if there is any sort of emphasis or focus on anything beyond vanilla.

I second this, Survivor29. I had already said some time ago that it would be nice to have tags or keywords on each story. You can see this on literotica, people can even search for tags like "spanking" etc. (The search facility would however not be possible in our board, AFAIK.)

The search function does exist (next to FAQ on the top left). Obviously it searchs the whole post but if the term "spanking" is used even if outside a specific tag it's likely got some in there. So if keywords are placed in a post they can be searched for.

Jaws, in principle you are right, there is a full text search facility. But neither do we have a list of tags, nor do we force authors to enumerate tags at the top of their stories. There could be a spanking story which does not contain the word "spanking" at all, for instance. There are websites which have more regulations for authors.

Hi Just joined last weekend. Liking the site so far. But curios about how long it takes to approve a story. Wrote two parts of one. And it’s not been approved or heard anything about it yet?

Once your first few posts have been approved you should be able to post immediately. The initial post approval is an anti-spam measure. I checked the moderator log, and your story posts got approved some hours after your above question. It's simply a matter of when the next moderator logs on.

How or when do you become an established author?
I’ve posted some stories. And have more in mind. So I was just wondering about it.
