WOW! Thanks for those links. As you know Literotica is such a huge place that is is hard to narrow your search sometimes to find exactly what you are looking for. Search terms like "Slave" invariably leads to hundreds of BDSM stories of garden variety Femdom Slavery that misses the niche genre of authors Like Katie Smith or Joe Doe style literature.

Seeing these links made my day!

Here's another Literotica author, whose stories involve slavery and change in status

Enlsaved by the Black Queen is a good story to start, but change in status seems to be common theme in this author's stories.!

For those who appreciate Mr Doe, these tales provide the delectable 2nd and 3rd Acts to the traditional 1 Act story.

I wish more people would post suggestions. I find literotica has so many bad stories that I don't enjoy perusing their massive collection, but I don't mind checking out recommended reading.

RANT
Again Literotica rejected my "Mr. Edwards" story (for the fourth time) and for the same reason, claiming: "As our submission FAQ states, we do not accept stories involving people under the age of 18 in sexual situations".
Except that I removed all the references to anyone underage and specifically state that Claire's sister was over eighteen when she started Slave Classes at school, and I don't refer when she had sex, only that she wasn't a virgin. At least the first time they used this excuse they actually showed the offending sentence. The past two times they have not even bothered to do that.
This is why I keep giving up on Literotica.

I had one rejection and was able to make corrections and they accepted the resubmission. There have been a few spots where I include the age of the individual in the sentence often repeating it ad nauseam even though I felt it hurt the flow of the story to make sure the editor was clear on the age of the character. Good luck going forward.

I tried to submit some of my CPA stories. I sent them in RTF format because that allows me to use bold/italics and different font sizes for emphasis. I got a rejection notice saying "We cannot accept your story in its current format" - despite the fact that their submission page states that RTF is acceptable!

I didn't bother resending them as plain text. Firstly because I like to use the aforementioned options, and secondly because if they can't even follow their own rules for submissions, there's no point dealing with them. I write my stories because I enjoy the creative process (when I'm in the mood,) and I want to share them with fans of the genre. I'm not going to jump through hoops to please some petty editor at Literotica. While it would be nice to have my stories on their site (and hopefully send more traffic here,) this is a hobby, not a profession. I don't get paid for it, so I'm not going to do it unless it's satisfying.

While that might sound petty, I'll point out that I work 40+ hours a week in a factory. I'm usually at work before the sun even rises. I have a limited amount of creative time and energy, and there are plenty of other things that I can be doing. I can understand that writers would like a larger audience - but my honest opinion is that if you focus on that, you will end up losing touch with what drives you to write in the first place.

I'm 45 (turn 46 next week.) I'm old enough to remember when Roald Dahl actually wrote interesting, engaging stories. He was a talented author. But around the time I was starting high school, he changed to writing crappy, disgusting books that appealed to children's most crude appetites. I can't entirely blame him for this - I'm sure he made fucktons of money for writing garbage. I can't even claim that I would have done differently. We all want to live comfortably.

BUT:

As I said, I don't get paid for this, few (if any) of us ever will. So the only satisfaction we will have is in the appreciation of our audience. The only legacy we will have as authors is the work we post online - and the internet never forgets. Even though this is a tiny, obscure forum known only to a handful of SS group refugees and those who stumbled across it on a random search, it is entirely possible that these stories might get cached somewhere and sporadically resurface until a giant meteor wipes out life on this earth. So if someone is reading my work long after I'm dead, I hope they enjoy it and appreciate that it was written by a man who wrote for the sake of writing, not to please others or make a buck.

TLDR version: since we aren't getting paid, we can retain some integrity. The hell with Literotica. Write what you want to write. Play how you want to play. Laugh and then slap a friend. The Addams family!

^^^ Oh fuck. That's what happens when you let the "mass media" get to you...

I'll get to link later. Just wanted to bring to attention a story by a Literotica author Comadoraptor"Paperwork" a girl goes in to renew her driver's license and must get a physical because she looks different. The regular Doctor is out sick, so she must use the Slave Doctor. I tried to comment but Literotica has suspended commenting while they do maintenance. Very frustrating. The author had some bad inconsistencies in a otherwise good story. The slave wrangler puts the collar on her twice. And the doctor takes the gag out of her mouth, but also leaves it in. Cute story, very good, but commenting, I just had to vent. Fucking Literotica.

Thanks for sharing. I thought it was a good story, even with the typos/errors. The only part I disliked was the anal part... but that's just because I don't like anal.

I wish more people would write similar stories.

Just as (yet another) example of the arbitrary processes of Literotica:

Some of you may have read Part 12 of "Breeding the Pony Girl," which I posted on THIS site ten days ago. When I submitted that story to Literotica, I deleted the paragraph where Nancy Bradford played (fully clothed) pony to pull her children around, because I thought Literotica would object. Today, however, I find that the moderators rejected the bowdlerized version of Part 12 because Lois described Richard spanking her "like a recalcitrant child"--apparently even that is considered child pornography.

Sigh. To be honest, some of my stories don't seem to really fit within the StripSearch humiliation wheelhouse, so I may have to continue using Literotica for things that may bore your readers, but like the rest of you who commented in this thread I find their processes arbitrary. I sometimes think they just search for any number less than (age) 18, rather than read the damn thing in context!

Your stories are great - please don't stop. Somehow, I imagine the SSF crowd will find a way to accommodate them. We'll make the effort :-)

This is an idea I've been considering for a while: my original intent with this site was to continue the SS tradition that started some 25 years ago on Yahoo groups. Being a small niche, it didn't have anywhere else to gather, and back then, starting an independent site was a lot harder because the "standard template construct" software wasn't available. When Yahoo shut down the groups I decided to start a site where I and other people with similar interests could gather and post/read stories. But from what I have gathered from comments, Literotica seems to be near-useless now. It's hard for writers such as yourself to get their work published.

So, I've been thinking that it might be useful to expand this site and make a separate section for stories outside the main theme. This would allow authors who have broader tastes to post their stories here. Alternatively, I could allow authors to create their own sub-forums within their "Established Authors" forum so that they can separate their SS-themed work from their other stories. That would let you post a wider variety of stories.

I'm somewhat torn here. On the one hand, I want this site to remain true to the original purpose - to share light-hearted "fun" stories that focus on the SS/humiliation theme. On the other hand, it is clear that we have some talented authors who have trouble posting their work elsewhere. At the moment I'm leaning toward the sub-forum idea. That lets you post other content with a clear headline regarding their nature.

Alternatively, if you want somewhere to post "hardcore" content, there are a couple of sites I can direct you to - not run by me, but that will give a broader scope than Literotica. They won't have the same traffic, but you will find it much easier to publish there.

I would appreciate some feedback on this. I don't want to lose sight of the original objective, but I want to accommodate authors with a broader range. I myself occasionally write stories that fall outside the SS theme - but I put those on one of the other sites I mentioned.

So, what do you guys think? Should we have a "hardcore" section, or just let individual authors post their work in a sub-forum that is clearly labeled as to content? Or neither?
