My ratings of some commercial fiction

Post by automagix12 »

Hi *, in this Topic I am going to rate some commercial fiction (books and short stories). There is no special selection or era of writing, but you can be sure that the texts are "on topic" for this site. I will list some recently read volumes, and add more stuff in due time. Rating is in 5 Stars syntax, i.e. * is lowest and ***** is best possible rating. Note that all books listed below will contain no illustrations exept the cover picture.

Modern BDSM fiction
  • Jessica Ackles: "Reluctant Lust" (Short story) [M+/ff, bondage, rape, abduction] (****)
  • I. Binder: "The Harem Exposé - Training of a Harem Slave" (Novel) [M+/f, slavery, rape] (*****)
  • I. Binder: "Coming of Age (Enslaved, Sold and Trained)" (Novel) (***)
  • Adriana Arden: "The Glass Harem" (Novel) [M+/ff] (****)
Classic novels
  • Marquis de Sade: "Juliette" (novel, ageless masterpiece) (*****)
  • John Norman: "GOR" (25+ fantasy novels, it takes time...) (***)
Please feel free to add your ratings and recommendations of commercial fiction below.

Here's a couple of stories that have inspired me:

In the Interest of Justice by Steven Rawlings

Chris, a government inspector writing a report, is seduced into going undercover at a brutal woman's prison to get the real story. I like the convincing/induction scene the best.

On The Auction Block (Slave of the Aristocracy Book 1)

While I didn't enjoy the entire series as much as the first book, Book 1 has a great enslavement scene. An aristocratic wife, enraged at watching her husband by a Pleasure Slut at an auction, teaches him a lesson by offering herself up for sale as a slave, thinking he'll object, or be forced to buy her.

"I'm making myself a slave." Her heart pounded and her face burned when she spoke the words.

The auctioneer stared at her for a long moment.

"The men in the front were close enough to hear her words. They turned to pass the news to the men behind them. From the stage, the auctioneer could see the story pass through the audience like a gust of wind across a field of wheat. The noise level fell in the room as everyone turned to watch the stage and strained to hear what was being said.

The auctioneer was keenly interested in Lady Irene's offer now. There was money to be made. But proceeding would be a delicate manner.

"What does your husband say?"

"I don't give a damn what he says. He didn't ask me what I thought about him buying a slave. If he wants me, he can buy me."

A man near the front shouted, "Only if he outbids me!"

Another man shouted, "And me!"

The auctioneer glanced at the men and licked his lips. The commission on her sale would be substantial. "You're a fine lady. You don't look like a slave."

"I will when I'm naked and chained on the block."
