Slaves Don't Need Visas - Shaving Melissa your thoughts?

Dear Readers,

Those of you who are reading the story will know that Melissa has pubic hair. The issue has been raised that she should be shaven. The same issue came up in the literotica forum where multiple commenters asked for this as well. So I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

I like women with pubic hair and I can't bring myself to write her to be shaven or get a shave during the story. The outcome of this poll will not influence the story. I mainly want to know to what degree people are annoyed by Melissa's pubic hair and how many don’t care either way and if there maybe even are people who prefer pubic hair on her.

Free women use the presence of pussy hair as proof of their status. Some take it overboard going au natural. I personally prefer a landing strip; hate getting a hair stuck in my teeth.

Slaves should never have hair below the neck. They are not recognized as free people but instead as owned livestock and should be treated as such. Melissa is a slave, owned by the state and should be treated as such no clothes no hair below the neck and maybe eventually auctioned branded trained disciplined and used either for physical work, as a pleasure slut, huccow, or a breeding slave. That is my opinion you are the author and are writing a wonderful story. Thank you.

Certain things are done to the new slave girl that demonstrates her changed status. Branding drives home the point that the slave girl's lot in life has changed. Throw in nipple piercing, piercing of the vaginal area, and removal of her pubic hair to help her understand that her body is no longer her's to control. There is nothing that prevents an owner from growing out his property's pubic hair if he finds it more visually pleasing or for example he wants to demonstrate that the curtains match the carpet so to speak. That's the owner's choice.

Interesting stuff. The clear majority is in favor of shaved, but there is also a minority who does like pubic hair. (And no, it wasn’t me who ticked that, I didn’t participate in this poll.) It is good to get a feel for this.

I have certainly not lost interest in the story!

It takes me more time to write this than it probably looks. I was a bit ill last week, but I'm ok again. But I also have a bit less time to write at the moment. And I don't want to release half baked stuff by publishing hastily. I think the details contribute a lot to the story and I add a lot them in the later revisions. What also makes it harder is the change of location (ups, spoiler). I already had a good picture of the layout of the Health Office and the employees there, but now I had to flesh out other locations and the new characters' personalities.

That said, chapter 22 is more or less stable now and I have put it online yesterday evening:

I haven't published it here yet because some of the details might still change and I want to release it together with chapter 23 (and maybe 24).

I agree with Mr. Smith that it's a matter of control. In cases where there is a perfect match for a rarer hair type (blonde or brunette) the slave market may allow a bit of a landing strip. However in general it's considered bad form in that it allows buyers to see what they are buying more easily, and is better for cleanup of slave girl's naturally wet and drippy snatches. They're all such dirty little animals!
