Does anyone know when the shift happened in this community? Was there ever a shift? Or do I just perceive one because I am new?

It started to happen back on the yahoo group 20+ years ago, and seems to have become the main theme.

Additionally, "shift" is when a shift occurs. When something changes gradually.

I think we should at least have a way of distinguishing or separating posts about the two topics.
